IMPACT for ENTERPRISING WOMEN is proud to be the oldest women's networking group in Phoenix. It was founded in 1979 by forward thinking women who saw the need to connect with other successful businesswomen. Each year IMPACT focuses efforts on providing academic scholarships to mature women returning to college. These "re-entry" women are students who are pursuing a business degree.
IMPACT FOR ENTERPRISING WOMEN
Founded in 1979, the nonprofit IMPACT for Enterprising Women [a 501(c)3] was the first organization for women in the Phoenix-metro area to provide educational, networking, and mentoring opportunities via monthly seminars and community service projects.
This year, we donated two $1,250 scholarships to mature women attending Pima Medical Institute and two $1,250 scholarships to single mothers working with Helping Hands for Single Moms. These women have returned to college to better their lives and become successful and competitive in the workplace.
IMPACT has also been supporting other individuals at Unlimited Potential, making it possible for participants to receive funding for GED tests. So far, we have funded more than 150 tests.
